| Family Updates |
The Family Update feature keeps track of many of the equineline reports you've ordered and notifies you if an
important update has occurred in the family of the horse for which you ordered a report. This unique feature
takes the guess-work out of staying in the know for important Family Updates. Only equineline offers this
one-of-a-kind service.
The equineline reports which qualify for Family Updates are all Catalog Style Pedigrees, Mare Produce Records
and Race Records. For example, if you order an Edited Catalog Style Pedigree on any horse today, equineline
will indicate in the Family Updates section when a Black-type Update or Other Update has occurred in the
immediate family of the horse. Listed below are the parameters for qualifying Family Updates:

Black-Type Updates
1. Broodmares, new black-type win or placing in produce record and 1st dam (1st and 2nd generation)
2. Non-Broodmares, new black-type win or placing in first or second dam (1st and 2nd generation)
Other Updates
1. Broodmares, new win or placing in produce record (1st generation only)
2. Non-Broodmares, new win or placing in the first dam (1st generation only)

Notification Options
There are three easy ways to stay informed on your Family Updates:
- When you login to equineline the "My equineline" page includes an option under "My Services" whenever you have a Family Update.
- The "My equineline" page also includes a section at the bottom of the page that displays the horses we are tracking for you,
based on your previous equineline report purchases, and any Family Update is noted with a check-mark in either the New Black-type
column or New Other column or possibly both.
- We can email you anytime a qualifying Family Update occurs for a horse. Click on Edit Notifications to mark a horse for email notifications.
By clicking on the Edit Notification link you can easily order a report (just click on the horse's name), mark a
horse for the email notify option or remove the horse from the Family Updates section. When you click on a horse
name you will be prompted to order either a PDF Premium Edited Pedigree Family Update or a PDF Unedited 2-dam
Catalogue Style Pedigree Family Update. A bonus feature when ordering either Family Update pedigree is the last
page of the report shows you exactly where the update occurred in the pedigree since you last ordered the product.
