Read and Reply to a Message

How to Read and Reply to a Message in the Message Center
Reading a message is as simple as clicking on the word "read" next to each message in your Message Center. You can read any type of message by selecting this option.

equineline.com includes 3 main types of messages. System scanning messages for entries, results and workouts are the first category of messages. Each scanning message includes the following information:

- Date & time received
- Sender
- Type of message
- Subject of message
- Message content (all scanning messages are listed in alphabetical order)

  • Entry scanning messages include a link to the full entries and past performance program for that particular race.
  • Result scanning for a horse in-training includes a link to the history of starts for that horse.
  • Result scanning for a mare's progeny includes a link to the full chart for that particular race.
  • Workout scanning includes a link to the last 10 workouts by the horse.
Messages about your horses are the second type and include the following information:

- Date & time received
- Sender
- Horse
- Type of message
- Subject of message
- Message content
- Attached photos

General Message are the third type and include the following information:

- Date & time received
- Sender
- Subject of message
- Message content
- Attached photos

You can reply to horse or general messages. System scanning messages can be forwarded to other persons. Messages are maintained in the Message Center until you delete them. Please keep in mind that over time your Message Center can get overloaded with older messages if they are not deleted.
